iSHARES CUP EP. 02 FRANCE (EVENT DATE 3rd to 5th July 2009)
The 2009 calendar for the premium iShares Cup Extreme 40 Sailing Series is now confirmed. Five rounds, with a possible sixth and final event, will be staged across Europe that will see the leaders in the sport of sailing vying for the overall iShares Cup, bringing the sport of Extreme 40 racing to the public for a third year running. Held at premium European venues that will grant the public accessibility and a grandstand view of the iShares Cup racing - spectators are guaranteed a close-up view of the short-course, action-packed racing alongside the iShares Cup Race Village, engaging the public both on and off the water.

The Kite Surfing Championship that started in 1999 is back again. This is one of the most international and exciting events in the sport. The Tour starts in the North Sea – Westerland and then takes place on the shores of Spain.

LEGENDARY BEACHES: BONDI (DOCUMENTARY)
Australia is surrounded by magnificent beaches – but the most widely known is Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
A one-kilometer stretch of fine golden sand facing eastward onto the Pacific Ocean, clear waters, and waves ideal for novice surfers. Only a few kilometers from downtown Sydney, Bondi has always been highly popular. Its reputation has grown over the years, and it is now Australia’s most famous beach.
In 1906, a group of men established the first ever surf lifeguard club. On these massive timber boats, they rowed out through the waves to rescue swimmers and surfers in distress.
Bondi’s lifeguards and surfers are now famous and people come from all around the world to see them in action.
